CROSSFIT
CrossFit is a comprehensive fitness program that focuses on ten facets of conditioning: cardiovascular endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination agility, balance and accuracy. The workouts vary daily, called a WOD, or workout of the day, and utilize bodyweight exercises, Olympic-style weight lifting, plyometrics, kettle bells, strength training and cardio.

A core component of CrossFit training is tracking your workouts – the weight you lift, the time you completed the workout in, the number of rounds you finished and how you felt during the workout. This reference allows you to measure your improvement while participating in CrossFit. At the beginning of each class, you’ll refer to your previous workouts to determine your starting point. Very quickly, you’ll see significant improvements in your fitness level.

FullOut Gym is committed to helping you get the results that you want. We carefully select our WODs to ensure you’re regularly working on the ten CrossFit fundamentals. With most WODs, there’s a prescribed weight to use, or way of performing the exercises. This is referred to as the Rx. Not to worry if you can’t complete the workout as prescribed – we’ll help you scale the routine to your ability.
